2020 Limited Release
This bottling is to commemorate the completion of the renovation and expansion work of the Shinshu Distillery in September 2020. The malt whisky part was distilled using the first pot still of the distillery, blended with locally produced grain whisky, both matured for at least 8 years. The "Asagi Madara" was drawn by artist Tomoko Nakanoma, where this butterfly visits the Miyada Village near the distillery every September.
Tasting Note:
Refreshing aroma and taste were reminiscent of the forest at the foot of the Central Alps that surrounds the distillery.
